Ok....

Wow was this an emotional book for me. With the title of being unwanted, of course, it was going to be heartbreaking. Theresa was married to someone she loved with all of her heart and he was only married to her for convenience. Having a deal with her father, who was the most terrible kind of person, he thought she knew about the deal and resented her so much.
She didn't know about it though, she truly loved him.
The way he treated her and made her feel, made me sick. I couldn't imagine being with someone who treated me so awful but I guess she was kind of used to it, with the way her father always treated her.
He hurt her with his words and his rejection. Man, I couldn't go a few pages without tearing up.

Then, when Alessandro learned the truth about his wife and her genuine feelings towards him, it was too little too late for her. I don't know if I would've put up with so much stuff from him but I've also never been in that situation and I guess it would be hard for me to understand what I would put up with, if I truly loved someone as she did Sandro.
I might have backhanded him a time or two, and cheating I could never put up with, no matter what *he didn't do it, but she thinks throughout the story that he did*

It was just heartbreaking, all of it. I did enjoy Sandro's change of heart and i"m glad she made him suffer, trying to win her back. I did, even though I hated myself for it, found myself, feeling sorry him a time or two though...
The ending was perfect, I loved that Theresa got everything she had initially wanted. She more than deserved it.
Great, angsty, heartbreaking yet hopeful story!

The Unwanted Wife The Unwanted Series Book 1 eBook Natasha Anders Reviews

I read this book a while ago and always remembered how much it touched me and how much I just freaking loved it!! I just HAD to do a re-read when my best friend said she wanted to read it, so we read together and I have to say… it's still as amazing as I remember if not more so.
I'm going to try to put into words what this book made me feel. I know I won't come close to doing it justice, but I'll try.
Theresa is a force to be reckoned with. In the beginning, she has just come to the point that she can't live the way she had for 18 months anymore. It was too much on her heart, her mind, and physically. Life forces us to be strong when we need it most, and Theresa is a perfect example of life and her situation forcing her to guard herself and push through. To make a decision to change it so she can be fully happy. She is by far one of my favorite heroines because she is so real. I hope I could be as wise as she is with life.
From the first line of this story, you feel the emotion. You feel the heartache and the despair she feels. She has loved Sandro since the beginning and he just… doesn't get it. But there is a reason for that, and neither of them are fully aware that their situation isn't what it seems. But there is hope. You sense that hope in her even when she sets in stone what she wants. You hope that the next page will bring something different and you can't help but keep reading because you know… YOU JUST KNOW! That something big will happen. The writing is beautiful, the development is flawless, and the way this story pulls you in is powerful.
Once (as in the blurb) Theresa finds out she is finally pregnant, well, her world tips and she must do what is best for her and her baby. I honestly could never forget this woman.
Sandro… in the beginning, you want to punch him or just flat out push him down a set of stairs, but you can't help but fall in love with him because the man is special. Theresa's love for him burrows deep inside you as you read his interactions with her. You feel the chemistry between them hit you like a board to the head because DAMN! The chemistry is intense! It's one of the reasons things between them have stayed the way they are for so long, but it's also the reason why things need to change.
Sandro is truly remarkable. Another very real character that you just HAVE to know more about. And once their situation creeps into the light, Sandro shows his true colors, and they are breath-taking. I've never read about another man truly making the kind of sacrifices Sandro made, but he needed to make them. They weren't unnecessary because he has a LOT to make up for. And you see it in everything he does. You feel it in every word he says to Theresa. That's what I think is so beautiful about this story. A bad situation can always change.
Both of them fight it. Both of them think they know exactly what the other needs. And both of them come to realize that what they need most has been in front of them this whole time, but is it too late? Is life going to make it impossible for the real Sandro and Theresa to be happy together? They were just placed together for the wrong reasons. But that doesn't matter, because love can change everything.
This is a book that I will ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Especially if you love a story with so much emotion. Watching these two slowly turn into the people they are meant to be… well, it's unforgettable.
If I could give this 10 stars I would. This book will hit you hard and it will never let you go.
5++++ stars!!
So I had two books I had to read. I was ready to start the first. Then I saw a post this book was on sale and I had it on my TBR for a while. I figured I would buy it and read it when I could. Then I looked at reviews. Then I peaked at chapter 1, hours later I had devoured this book. I LOVED it Loved every word.

This was very emotional, angst-filled and heart breaking read. All Theresa ever wanted was to be loved. Cherished. Mean something to someone. And she thought she had found that in her husband,
Alesandro (Sandro), but almost a year and a half later, all she had was a cold husband that barely acknowledged her. Only one demand, a son. Finally deciding she had enough, she was ready to walk away. But Sandra was not letting her go.

Theresa was at once naive and sweet, but once she decided to walk away, you began to see a strength and stubbornness in her that surprised Sandro. You could not help but feel for her.

Sandro on the other hand could be very cruel to Theresa. Slowly he destroyed all the love she had once felt for him. He was definitely a very hateful person at the start, but as he slowly got to really know Theresa, we started to see a different side of him.

Their journey was not an easy one. At times it was heart-wrenching. My heart broke repeatedly as I read this. The feels were so much. A great read, especially if you love angst-filled stories, which I do. I would definitely recommend this one!

This was a 5-star read for me. Happy reading.
